What Becomes Possible
Living with a chronic or autoimmune condition can leave you feeling disconnected from your own body, especially when symptoms feel unpredictable or difficult to understand.
But it can feel as though your body is working against you. What you experience may be part of a protective response from a nervous system that has learned to stay on high alert.
You didn’t choose your diagnosis, but you can begin to change the way you relate to your body and the way your body experiences safety.
By uncovering the subconscious patterns influencing your nervous system, you can move from constantly monitoring, managing, or anticipating what might happen next to developing a deeper sense of choice and connection.
Instead of bracing for the next flare-up or searching for another protocol to follow, you begin to pause, listen, and respond to your body from a place of greater safety.
As internal safety grows, the need to over-manage everything can naturally soften. You can begin releasing emotional burdens you were never meant to carry and create more space for rest, connection, and a renewed sense of agency — from the inside out.
How We Create The Shift
This is a fully experiential 3-hour live workshop designed to help you experience a different relationship with your body in real time.
We’ll combine the MAP Method with gentle somatic exercises to bring your subconscious patterns and nervous system responses into awareness — not just through conversation, but through direct experience.
Because lasting change often begins beneath conscious awareness, we’ll use the MAP Bridging Technique to gently work with the patterns that may be keeping your nervous system in familiar protective responses.
Rather than analyzing your past or trying to force your body to respond differently, you’ll learn to notice what is happening within you in the present moment and create space for a new response.
You’ll experience what it feels like to listen to your body, build internal safety, and respond from a place of greater choice rather than automatically returning to familiar patterns.
Workshop Outline
Acceptance
Can I accept my body as it is?
MAP Session: A gentle exploration of what becomes possible when you stop fighting, judging, or resisting your body. You’ll meet your current experience with curiosity rather than trying to fix it.
Somatic Exercise: Noticing the Body Without Changing It. A simple practice to build your capacity to stay present with your body exactly as it is, noticing sensations and tension without trying to alter them.
Responsibility
What is mine to take responsibility for?
MAP Session: Clarify the difference between what is truly in your control and what is not. You will gently release the responsibility for things that were never yours to carry.
Somatic Exercise: Agency, Choice, & Grounded Presence. A physical exploration of choice, helping you reconnect with your options and experience grounded presence in your body.
Boundaries
Am I allowed to say No?
MAP Session: Work through the subconscious beliefs and emotions that make setting boundaries with others, expectations, and old patterns feel unsafe or guilt-provoking.
Somatic Exercise: Embodied YES / NO. Experience your boundaries as physical responses, noticing exactly how your body communicates consent, resistance, willingness, and its limits.
Differentiation
What if this doesn't belong to me?
MAP Session: Create space to recognize and release the emotional burdens, fears, expectations, and roles you may have absorbed from others.
Somatic Exercise: Mine / Not Mine. A guided practice to physically feel the difference between what is truly yours and what you have unknowingly taken on.
Creation
Who am I beyond my condition?
MAP Session: Shift your focus from what is wrong to what becomes possible. Explore the relationship you want to create with your body moving forward.
Somatic Exercise: Your Next Chapter. Connect with what feels safe and aligned right now, finalizing with a mini integration to lock in your internal shifts, recognize what you are ready to release, and choose your next embodied response.
Integration
What am I taking with me?
MAP Session & Somatic Exercise: A short MAP and somatic integration designed to bring the workshop experience together. You’ll reflect on what you notice in your body now, what may have shifted, what you’re ready to release, and what you want to continue practicing after the workshop.
Your body is not a problem to solve. It is a relationship to explore.

Meet Your Coach
Jelena Katić Ujević
Head Coach and MAP Trainer, focused on trauma-informed approaches, nervous system regulation, and the emotional patterns reflected through the body.
She holds a BA in Psychology and is currently training in Integral Body Psychotherapy. Her certifications include Traumatic Stress Studies, HeartMath, Pain Reprocessing Therapy, and the MAP Method.
Her work is informed by her own lived experience following a car accident that resulted in partial paralysis, as well as long-standing challenges with emotional and physical weight, stress, and coping patterns such as overworking and emotional numbing.
Today, she focuses on how nervous system regulation shapes the relationship with the body, weight, and inner sense of safety, and how lasting change emerges through restoring connection and internal balance.

Hear From Our Case Study Participants
In August and September 2026, Jelena guided a 30-day case study with people living with autoimmune and chronic conditions to explore how MAP might support their relationship with their bodies and their overall well-being.
We looked at participants’ experiences before and after the 30 days, focusing on areas such as body connection, safety, sense of control, emotional patterns, stress, and awareness of internal signals.
Participants reported meaningful shifts across many of these areas, including feeling more connected to their bodies, safer within them, and more aware of their internal experiences, alongside less stress, emotional intensity, and fight, flight, freeze, or shutdown responses.
Here are some of their experiences, in their own words.
“I now stop to ask what emotions or stressors are contributing to the symptom. I feel like my partnership with my body has improved.“
“The more love and compassion I felt towards my body, the happier I felt. And in return, the more love and compassion I felt for others who are suffering.”
“I'm more likely to stop and do a MAP subliminal, and listen to what my body and emotions are telling me.”
“I’m actually realizing that I took time for myself this past week when I wasn’t feeling well, when normally I wouldn’t do that. I would push myself to get everything done and not rest”
“I am allowing myself to rest, knowing I need to nurture myself.”
“During this quiet time listening to the subliminals, I started appreciating my body and desired to be kinder and more compassionate towards it, like I would be to any person suffering. I actually love me again!”
“I can change how I feel and don't need to feel trapped in my own skin”
“I have suppressed my intuition and what my body is telling me for so long, it stopped talking to me. Slowly I've seen how safety is bringing my body back to trusting me."
“Sleeping better, less stressed, less reactive. More aware.”
“I am confident that no matter what happens in life, I will handle it; uncomfortable feelings are part of life, and they don't last forever.”
“I am more accepting and pace myself a bit better now.”
