How Will We Do It?
This is not a lecture where you just sit and take notes.
This is a fully experiential 3-hour live workshop where tangible shifts happen in real time. We will combine the MAP Method with Somatic Practices to communicate directly with your subconscious and your nervous system.
WORKSHOP OUTLINE
1. Intro: The Truth About Weight.
We will start by revealing the exact findings from our recent case study and show you why your body responds the way it does.
2. MAP Session: Why Can't I Let Go?
We will explore what your body is actually holding onto and why. Instead of forcing a release, we will uncover the hidden protections and unconscious patterns that make letting go feel unsafe.
Weight is often not the problem, but a strategy.
When you understand what your body is trying to protect you from, real change becomes possible without resistance.
3. Somatic Practice: Where Am I Holding?
This gentle body-based practice helps you tune into where you are holding tension and pressure physically, emotionally, and energetically.
You cannot release what you are not aware of. By reconnecting with your body's signals, you will create the foundation for profound shifts.
4. MAP Clearing: It Is Not About Food, Scrolling, or Overworking.
We will go beyond habits and willpower to address the deeper nervous system patterns behind your behaviors.
We will clear the subconscious associations between food, overworking, or scrolling, and your need for comfort.
When we meet the underlying need differently, the urge to reach for distractions naturally softens.
5. Somatic Practice: Safety Without Distractions
You will experience what it feels like to regulate your body without relying on external factors.
Through simple guided techniques, you will learn how to create a profound sense of calm and safety from within your own body so it stops asking for outside soothing.
6. MAP Session: Allowing the Body to Release.
We will work with the deeper layers that often block lasting change, like the fear of the unknown.
Sometimes the body holds on simply because it is not ready to change.
We will gently clear this resistance so that releasing weight becomes a natural outcome instead of something you have to force.
7. MAP & Somatic Session: A New Relationship With Your Body.
We will bring everything together to help you integrate what you have experienced.
You will move from a place of control and conflict to one of listening and trusting your system.
When your body feels heard and supported, it opens up the space to keep releasing emotional and physical weight because it simply no longer needs it.
MEET YOUR COACH
Jelena Katic Ujevic
Head Coach and MAP Trainer at the MAP Coaching Institute, specializing in trauma, nervous system regulation, and the emotional patterns reflected through the body.
She holds a BA in Psychology and is currently training in Integral Body Psychotherapy. Her certifications include Traumatic Stress Studies, HeartMath, Pain Reprocessing Therapy, and the MAP Method.Â
Her work is informed by her own lived experience following a car accident that resulted in partial paralysis, as well as long-standing challenges with emotional and physical weight, stress, and coping patterns such as overworking and emotional numbing.
Today, she focuses on how nervous system regulation shapes the relationship with the body, weight, and inner sense of safety, and how lasting change emerges through restoring connection and internal balance.
