The MAP Method: A Revolutionary Approach to Memory Reconsolidating
The Make Anything Possible™(MAP) coaching method is a unique process that came to life in 2013 when Colette Streicher, an experienced social worker and coach, stumbled upon the remarkable work of Dr. Garry Flint: Process Healing.
With his permission, she combined his process with coaching principles, mindfulness, and a hint of hypnotherapy, resulting in a powerful modality that helps people from all walks of life overcome their deep emotional patterns and live purposefully.

Rewire Your Brain, Rewrite Your Story
How Does the MAP Method Rewire Your Brain?
Did you know that your brain holds the key to transforming your life? Many of the challenges we face—stress, anxiety, fear—are rooted in subconscious memories. These memories shape how we react to situations, often without us even realizing it.
The MAP Method is a cutting-edge neuroscience-based technique designed to teach your subconscious how to become an ally to the treatment process, where you can instruct it to identify and neutralize memories. It's simple, gentle, and can provide immediate stress reduction.

Identify the Root:
Gently tackle the subconscious triggers driving your reactions.
Every reaction—stress, worry, fear—has a trigger hidden in your subconscious. The MAP Method helps your brain locate these triggers without the need to relive or remember painful experiences.

Neutralize Emotions Attached To Memories:
Using memory reconsolidation, the brain safely updates these old memories, removing their emotional charge. This process allows you to notice it without judgment, even in situations that once felt overwhelming.
Nothing is deleted; you will automatically get wisdom from the situation instead of repeating it blindly.

Create Lasting Change:
With the emotional triggers neutralized, the MAP Method helps your brain build positive neural connections, empowering you to think and respond differently in the future.
Traditional methods like therapy, EMDR, EFT, NLP, hypnosis, and meditation often provide relief, but sometimes it's a long process, painful or even complicated. They don’t always address the subconscious root of the issue.
With MAP, however, it works on both the level of your conscious mind and subconscious memories, offering not only immediate stress reduction and mental clarity but long-term behavioral changes.
Real Professionals, Extraordinary Results
MAP isn’t just theory—it’s a breakthrough in how we experience personal growth.

Jill H.
(Trauma-Informed Licensed Professional Counselor, NLP, EFT, EMDR, DNMS, Brainspotting)
"My goal has always been to find the quickest & most thorough methods to get my clients back on their feet again... MAP is so much easier as it requires much less effort on my part as I’m not trying to “figure everything out” with/for my clients & I don’t have to wade through with them their painful trauma histories..."

Denise S.
(Psychotherapist, Biodynamics Therapy, Executive Coach)
"In the end, as it's the client's own Superconscious which is treating, it's very empowering and "safe" and encourages clients to work on themselves. Best of all, at the end of the session, the client is able to access the joy and pleasure of their own relief, freedom and wisdom."

Madeleine L.
(Nutritional Therapy, Reiki, Healing Touch, Energy Kinesiology)
"I saw a demo of the MAP Method and realized instantly that it was what I'd been wishing for. I consider MAP to be an advanced method of neural retraining. It's much quicker and goes deeper than DNRS and other basic methods of neural retraining because it works with the subconscious mind directly."
What Does a MAP Session Look Like?
Curious about how a MAP session works? It’s simpler than you might think! The MAP Method is designed to help you transform stress, anxiety, and even deep-seated fears with minimal effort. Here’s what to expect:

Getting Started
Your journey begins with a quick pre-training video to prepare your brain for the session. Whether online or live, the session itself is simple, effective, and relaxing.

Share Your Challenge or Dream
At the start of the session, you’ll share what’s bothering you, what you would like to change or even what goal you would like to set.
Example: “I’m terrified of heights, and it’s affecting my ability to work in high-rise offices.”
You don’t need to go into detail—just a brief description is enough for your coach to guide you through the process.

Let Your Brain (Superconscious) Do the Work
Using a specific protocol, your MAP coach gives your brain instructions to identify and process the subconscious memories, emotions, or events causing the issue.
All you need to do is close your eyes, relax, and observe how you feel.
There’s no need to tap, visualize, or talk much—you’re simply in a state of mindfulness.

Observe the Shift
As the session progresses, you’ll notice your emotional and physical reactions naturally change:
- At first, you might feel intense sensations, like a racing heart or sweaty palms.
- Over just a few minutes, these feelings diminish.
- You’ll provide feedback to your coach, such as:
- “At first, I felt like a 10 (extreme anxiety).”
- “Now I’m at a 6—it’s improving.”
- “I’m down to a 0—the fear is gone.”
By the end of the session, the issue is usually resolved. Your brain has rewired itself, and the emotional trigger is neutralized for good.
- Example Result: “I imagined standing on the 27th floor, and for the first time, I felt calm and confident.”
Why MAP Works: Unlocking Your Brain’s Natural Capacity to Change
MAP goes straight to the source—your brain’s natural, image-based way of processing the world. Rather than battling against old habits with logic alone, MAP speaks to your mind using metaphors. This intuitive approach helps you gently release emotional blocks, realign your inner resources, and foster lasting change.
How does MAP work?
-
Works With Your Brain’s Native Language: By using images and stories, MAP aligns with how your mind already thinks and learns.
-
Creates a Safe, Supportive Space: MAP ensures all parts of your personality feel included and at ease, making it easier to embrace growth.
-
Encourages Gradual, Lasting Progress: Instead of big, overwhelming shifts, MAP helps you make steady, meaningful improvements—one step at a time.
The best way to understand MAP is to learn more and experience what the process feels like for yourself.

Meet Colette, Founder of the MAP Method™
A Licensed Psychotherapist & High-Performance Coach Dedicated to Transforming Lives
Colette Streicher, LCSW, created the MAP Method™ in 2013 with a simple yet powerful vision: make personal development both accessible and life-changing. Drawing on her extensive background as a psychotherapist and high-performance coach, Colette designed MAP to help people quickly and gently rewire their subconscious patterns, reduce emotional burdens, and unlock greater joy and potential.
Raised in a small village in France, Colette witnessed firsthand how unresolved trauma—like her parents’ struggles with PTSD after multiple wars—can affect happiness and well-being. Driven to understand what truly makes people thrive, she moved to the U.S. in 1995 and pursued a master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Houston. Over a decade in private practice, she explored and integrated innovative approaches such as Mindfulness, BodyTalk, EFT, NLP, and Matrix Energetics.
The Birth of the MAP Method™: One pivotal day, after a transformative coaching session, Colette discovered the work of Dr. Gary Flint. Combining his Process Healing techniques with a coaching framework, she developed the MAP Method—an approach that felt like “using a cannon to kill a fly” compared to more effortful, traditional methods. The result is a method that addresses issues at their core, making the transformation process feel natural, safe, and surprisingly effortless.
Since its inception, the MAP Method™ has supported over 7,000 individuals in aligning their beliefs with their goals. Her Amazon bestselling book Abundance on Demand further recognizes Colette's expertise, solidifying her reputation as a pioneer in personal transformation and peak performance.
